Production work and film crews for the Pacific:
The Pacific Island Countries provide spectacular scenery and is a place full of stories to be told.
The Cultures of the Pacific Island Countries are as varied as one can imagine, and lifestyle is still dependant on resources of land and sea in many of the outer islands.
But the Pacific Islands are developing fast, their populations are growing, their links with the rest of the world are being ever more developed, and are now the destination for well over a million tourists every year.

We at Tradewind Communications have worked on location in almost every speck of land across the Pacific, from Easter Island in the South East to Palau in the North West.
We have filmed travel magazine stories, tourist promotion videos, documentaries, news items, educational video, - even music clips.

We regularly film in the region and know how important local knowledge can be to achieve the results needed.
We speak English, French, Spanish, and German.

We are experienced underwater photographers. See Underwater Filming for more information on this.

Productions for the Pacific:
Our long experience in the Pacific has taught us how to film in this region without causing ill feelings or embarrassment. We film in the "Pacific Way" by making sure that the camera is as discreet as possible while still getting the footage we need.

We have no language barrier: We have produced programmes in many of the Pacific languages. We have developed a simple way of producing programmes in languages we don't speak ourselves.

We have access to professional narrators and voices in any Pacific language desired.

We can organise professional translations to or from any language spoken in the Pacific.

And apart from that our staff do speak both English and French.

Again, the advantage with Tradewind Communications is that we are more than just film or video technicians.

We have a thorough first hand knowledge of cultures, traditions and life styles in the Pacific as well as a qualified and competent understanding of contemporary issues like economic development, the environment, and the history of the Pacific.
